I served these little gems to my daycare kids for years. They always went over great along with some finger food veggies or veg. soup.

prep time 10 Min
cook time 20 Min
method Bake
yield 6 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 2 cans tuna, drained
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed cornflakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

How To Make tuna bites

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°. Combine tuna, 1 cup of the cornflakes, mayonnaise, egg, onion powder and mustard.
  • Step 2
Shape mixture into 1 to 2 inch balls. Roll balls in remaining 1/2 up of cornflakes. ( I forgot this step in the picture, so I guess it's not mandatory.)
  • Step 3
Place on baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with tartar or cocktail sauce or mixture of mayonnaise & ketchup or mayonnaise & mustard.
