16 oztuna steaks, cut into 4 equal pieces 1/2" thick
2 Tbspsoy sauce
1 Tbspwhite wine vinegar
1 tspsesame oil
1/4 tspground ginger
1/8 tspgarlic powder
1 tsptoasted sesame oil
·fish substitutes: swordfish, salmon, halibut steaks, tilapia, nile perch, or catfish fillets
How to Make Tradewinds Tuna
- Pat fish dry with paper towels. In an 8" square glass dish, combine soy sauce, vinegar, sherry, sesame oil, ginger, sugar, and garlic powder. Place tuna steaks in mixture, turning to coat both sides. Let stand 20 minutes to marinate.
- Cover with vented plastic wrap. Rotating dish midway through cooking, microwave on high 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 minutes, or until tuna is no longer opaque. Let stand 2 minutes. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
