This started as an experiment. Mom loves Tilapia so I tried to see what I could do. We both enjoyed it.

Ingredients

  • 3 slice
    Tilapia
  • 1/4 bottle
    Applejack (Whisky)
  • 1 clove
    garlic, finely sliced
  • 1
    lemon, halved
  • 1/4
    small sweet onion, diced
  • ·
    oil

How to Make Tilapia

Step-by-Step

  1. pour Applejack over fish in a seal-able container until covered. Allow to marinate for two hours turning halfway through.
  2. Heat a small amount of oil in pan. Saute onions and garlic. Squeeze lemon juice onto both sides of Tilapia, and sear fish for about five minutes on either side.
  3. Serves well with rice and cranberry sauce.
