You'll know it's a special occasion when you get to enjoy a serving of these delicious fish tacos. As far as I'm concerned....it's a specail day EVERYDAY!!!!! These are soooo good!

Ingredients

  • 1 - 6 oz. packages fresh take chili lime & panko recipe cheese breadcrumb mix
  • 6 - tilapia fillets
  • 2 cups purple cabbage, shredded (optional)
  • 1 cup fruity salsa
  • 12 - 6 - corn tortillas, warmed

How To Make tilapia fish tacos w/ fruity salsa

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • I will be making these just as soon as our grocery store carries this item!!!!!  

Sometimes it could take forever to get new items in.  UGH!
    Step 2
    Spray baking sheet with cooking spray. Open FRESH TAKE bag; pull apart center seal. Mix contents together.
  • Step 3
    Moisten fish with water; place in bag, 1 piece at a time. Lightly press cheese mixture onto both sides of fish. (Fish will not be completely coated.) Place on prepared baking sheet; top with remaining cheese mixture.
  • Step 4
    Bake 12 - 15 min. or until fish flakes easily with fork.

    Meanwhile, combine cabbage & salsa. https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/sauce-spread/salsa/fruity-salsa.html NOTE: The next time I make this....I will not use the cabbage. It took away from the fish.
  • Step 6
    Cut fish fillets in half; place on tortillas. Top with cabbage mixture. NOTE: I cut my fish into pieces before cooking.
