teriyaki oven-fried catfish nuggets
I created a first kind of oven-fried catfish nugget recipe with teriyaki. It's inspired by Kinder's Teriyaki seasoning. It's good with fried rice and egg rolls.

Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
- 6 tablespoons Teriyaki seasoning, divided
- 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 2 pounds catfish fillets, cut into smaller pieces
How To Make teriyaki oven-fried catfish nuggets

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and mist with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 3In a large bowl, combine heavy cream, teriyaki sauce, half and half, dark sesame oil, and 3 tablespoons teriyaki seasoning; whisk together until blended.

Step 4In a deep pie plate, combine yellow cornmeal, Old Bay seasoning, bread crumbs, and remaining Teriyaki seasoning; mix well with a fork until combined.

Step 5Dip each catfish piece in the Teriyaki mixture with a fork.

Step 6Transfer well-coated catfish nuggets into crumb mixture; mix well.

Step 7Place on a coated baking sheet.

Step 8Bake for 25 minutes or until the fillets are golden brown.
