This is a different way to make salmon patties.

Ingredients

  • 1 can pink salmon
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 cup crushed ritz type crackers
  • 1/2 cup corn
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 - squeezed lime
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make tasty salmon patties

  • Step 1
    Clean the bones from the canned salmon and break up with your hands.(you may want to use gloves)
  • Step 2
    Beat the egg in a bowl, add the salmon, crackers, corn, lime juice, ketchup and cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  • Step 3
    Form and shap into patties.
  • Step 4
    Heat the tablespoon of oil in skillet. Drop the patties into the pan and cook approximately 5-7 minutes on each side.
  • Step 5
    Carefully remove from pan and serve with vegetable or salad.
