I REALLY dislike bottled Tartar Sauce from the grocery store .... but loved the one from my favorite seafood restaurant!! So, I put my "taste buds" to work and came up with this recipe. I always serve this along with my fried shrimp, crawfish, crab cakes, and MY FAVORITE ... fried catfish!!! I've also used this as a spread on fish and seafood sandwiches!!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonaise, (blue plate)
  • 2 tablespoons salad dressing (miracle whip)
  • 1/8 cup sweet pickle relish (mt olive)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar, white granulated
  • 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes, dried
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

How To Make tartar sauce

  • Step 1
In small bowl, combine all ingredients, and mix thoroughly.
  • Step 2
Store in refrigerator. Make at least 2-4 hours before using, to give the flavors time to blend. It's really best if made the day before!!!!
