Ingredients
- STEAMED FISH
- 3 green onions, white parts only sliced
- 2 bass fish fillets
- salt
- 1 inch ginger, cut into thin rounds
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- GINGER SCALLION SAUCE
- 1 bunch green onions, sliced
- 4 inch piece ginger, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup grapeseed oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
How To Make steamed fresh bass with ginger and scallions sauce

Step 1In a steamer, add the scallion whites on a plate. Place the fish on top. Season with some salt and top with the ginger.

Step 2Steam 7 to 10 minutes. Remove fish from the plate and drain off liquid.

Step 3Mix the soy sauce and sugar and pour over the fish.

Step 4For the sauce, place the scallion and ginger in a food processor. Pulse until small pieces.

Step 5Place in a saucepan and add the oil. Once warm and bright green, pour over the fish.
