spicy cajun baked shrimp

Look for shrimp that has been deveined to save prep time. I like to completely shell the shrimp but you could leave tails on if you like. This is a nice blend of spicy, tangy and sweet. This increases in heat as leftovers!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons cajun or creole seasoning (such as emeril's)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 pound uncooked large shrimp, shelled and deveined
- - lemon wedges
- - serve over rice with crusty bread
How To Make spicy cajun baked shrimp

Step 1Combine oil, seasoning, lemon juice, parsley, honey, soy sauce and a pinch of cayenne pepper in a 9 x 13 baking dish.

Step 2Add shrimp and toss to coat. Refrigerate 1 hour

Step 3Preheat oven ot 450. Bake until shrimp are cooked through, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.

Step 4Garnish with lemon wedges and serve with rice and crusty bread for dipping.
