Look for shrimp that has been deveined to save prep time. I like to completely shell the shrimp but you could leave tails on if you like. This is a nice blend of spicy, tangy and sweet. This increases in heat as leftovers!

extra virgin olive oil
2 Tbsp
cajun or creole seasoning (such as emeril's)
2 Tbsp
lemon juice, fresh
2 Tbsp
fresh parsley, chopped
1 Tbsp
1 Tbsp
soy sauce
1 pinch
cayenne pepper
1 lb
uncooked large shrimp, shelled and deveined
lemon wedges
serve over rice with crusty bread

How to Make Spicy Cajun Baked Shrimp


  • 1Combine oil, seasoning, lemon juice, parsley, honey, soy sauce and a pinch of cayenne pepper in a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • 2Add shrimp and toss to coat. Refrigerate 1 hour
  • 3Preheat oven ot 450. Bake until shrimp are cooked through, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
  • 4Garnish with lemon wedges and serve with rice and crusty bread for dipping.
