Ingredients For spice rubbed poached halibut

2 Tbspbutter

1 cmilk
-
1/4 tspsalt

1 Tbspparsley flakes

5 clovegarlic, peeled & crushed

2halibut or cod fillets, skinless
- GARNISH:

1 tspparsley flakes

lemon wedges

pepper
How To Make spice rubbed poached halibut

1Melt butter in medium skillet; add garlic & cook on low, about 30 seconds. Add milk, salt, 1 Tbsp parsley to skillet. Bring to a simmer on low heat, cover & let simmer for another 5 minutes or until fragrant.

2When the poaching liquid is ready, gently add fish into the pan. Cook, covered, 10 - 12 minutes. When done, fish should be opaque.

3When each fillet is ready, use slotted spoon to transfer to serving plate. Garnish with parsley, lemon wedges & pepper.
