How To Make southwest planked salmon
-
Step 1Cook all ingredients (except wine & salmon) over medium heat for 3 - 4 minutes, set aside for a few minutes, then mix in wine. Cool to room temperature.
-
Step 2Place salmon in marinade, cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
-
Step 3Soak cedar planks in water for at least 2 hours or overnight.
-
Step 4Place planks directly on the grill over medium low - medium heat & close the grill lid. When plank begins to smoke, place marinated salmon on the plank, close the lid & grill until cooked through, about 10 - 12 minutes. NOTE: If the edges of the plank catch fire, spray with water.
