slow cooker maple salmon
Takes only an hour in the slow cooker for a perfectly cooked salmon with a spicy rub and sweet glaze. Nice arugula salad to give it some freshness.

How To Make slow cooker maple salmon
-
Step 1Make a sling with foil by folding the foil in half, then in half again, long enough to run across the bottom of the slow cooker and out the top. Lay the lemon slices on the foil.
-
Step 2Mix the paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt, and brown sugar. Rub all over the salmon filets.
-
Step 3Lay the filets in the slow cooker on top of the lemon slices. Pour the wine around the filets, adding water if it doesn't cover the foil.
-
Step 4Cook on high for 1 hour.
-
Step 5To make the arugula salad. Mix the vinegar and oil together and add salt. Dress the arugula with the vinaigrette and place it on the plates.
-
Step 6Using the sling, remove the salmon from the slow cooker. Brush each piece with maple syrup and place on top of the salad.
