Ingredients

1 lb
shrimp-peeled-deveined
10 oz
yellow rice-cooked
1/2 stick
butter
1
onion-chopped
1/4 c
garlic-minced
10 oz
can rotel
10 oz
can cream of mushroom soup
pinch
salt & black pepper to taste
couple
drops crab boil

How to Make Shrimp & Yellow Rice

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350'.
  • 2In a large saute' pan; heat butter over medium-high heat until melted. Add onions & garlic. Saute 3-5 minutes or until wilted. Add shrimp; cook 7-10 minutes until pink.Add Rotel, cream of mushroom soup, & crab boil. Mixing well. Bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer 7-10 minutes.
  • 3Season with salt & pepper to taste if desired.
  • 4In a large mixing bowl, combine shrimp & sauce with the cooked yellow rice. Mix together well.
  • 5Pour into a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish. Cover with foil. Cook 20 minutes. Uncover; cook 5 more minutes.
