Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons peppercorns, black
- 3 quarts water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 - limes, quartered
- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled, deveined & tails off
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, fresh, chopped
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1 tablespoon jalapeno pepper, minced
- 12 - 6" - corn tortillas
- GARNISH:
- - tomato, diced
- - sour cream
- - green onions
- - mexican blend shredded cheese
- - avocado, sliced
How To Make shrimp tacos

Step 1Place the peppercorns on a double layer of cheesecloth. Gather edges of cheesecloth together, & tie securely. Combine cheesecloth bag, water, salt, red pepper & lime quarters in a Dutch oven. Bring to a boil; cook 2 minutes. Add shrimp; cook 2 minutes or until done. Drain. Discard cheesecloth bag & lime quarters.

Step 2Combine shrimp, cilantro, lime juice & jalapeño pepper, tossing well to coat. Heat tortillas according to package directions. Spoon 1/3 C shrimp mixture into each tortilla; top each taco with tomato, sour cream, onions, cheese & avocado.
