Shrimp Saganaki (Greek Shrimp)

Ingredients

4 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

1 conion, chopped

1/2 tspred pepper flakes
-
3 clovegarlic, chopped

1 tsporegano, dried
-
2 ctomato, chopped
-
1/8 couzo (optional)
-
1 lbshrimp
-
·kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

1handful parsley, chopped
-
3/4 cfeta cheese, crumbled
How to Make Shrimp Saganaki (Greek Shrimp)
- Heat the oil in a pan.
Add the onion and saute until soft, about 5 minutes.
Add the red pepper flakes and garlic and saute for 30 seconds. - Add the tomato, oregano and ouzo and simmer until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
Add the shrimp and simmer for 30 seconds per side.
Remove from heat and stir in the parsley. - Transfer to a baking dish and top with the feta cheese.
Bake in a preheated 425-degree oven until the sauce is bubbly, about 10 minutes. - Must be served with a great bread to sop up all the luscious tomato and feta sauce.
