Ingredients
- 1 pound boiled shrimp or crawfish
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 2 dashes drops of zatarains liquid shrimp & crab boil concentrate
- 1/2 cup water
- - cooked rice
How To Make shrimp or crawfish etoufee’

Step 1Melt butter in large frying pan.

Step 2Sauté onions, celery & garlic until tender (5 minutes).

Step 3Add ½ cup water & simmer covered for 15 minutes.

Step 4Stir in shrimp & parsley.

Step 5Dissolve cornstarch in ½ cup water & combine with mixture.

Step 6Add tomato sauce & Zatarains Concentrate.

Step 7Mix thoroughly, cover & cook 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 8Serve over hot rice.
