Ingredients
- 1 pound shelled and deveined large shrimp
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 small bunch fresh cilantro
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- - hot cooked rice
How To Make shrimp java

Step 1Combine shrimp, soy sauce, lime juice, sugar, cumin, chili powder, and garlic in a large bowl; stir until well mixed. Marinate 15 minutes

Step 2Remove and discard large stems from the cilantro. Rinse cilantro in a bowl of water several times to remove sand. Drain cilantro and dry in salad spinner. Coarsely chop cilantro.

Step 3Heat a wok over high heat about 1 minute or until hot. Drizzle oil into the wok and heat 30 seconds. Add shrimp mixture. Stir fry about 4 minutes or until shrimp turn pink and opaque. Add half of cilantro; toss to combine. transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with cilantro. Serve with rice.
