Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds deveined shrimp
- 1 1/2 tablespoons bacon grease
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 8 oz cans tomato sauce
- 16 oz - can of petite diced tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons basil
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 4 dashes of tabassco sauce (more or less to your liking)
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup rice, cooked
How To Make shrimp creole

Step 1Heat the bacon grease and saute the trinity (celery, green pepper and onions) until tender. Add the flour, this will thicken the sauce. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 25 mins

Step 2Add the shrimp and simmer for 10 more mins. Serve over cooked rice with crusty bread.
