Shrimp Creole
Ingredients

1 1/2 lbdeveined shrimp

1 1/2 Tbspbacon grease

2 Tbspflour
-
1/2 cchopped onion

1/2 cchopped green pepper

1/2 cchopped celery

8 oz can(s)tomato sauce

16 ozcan of petite diced tomatoes

3 Tbspbasil
-
4 cloveminced garlic
-
4 dash(es)of tabassco sauce (more or less to your liking)

2 Tbspworcestershire sauce

·salt and pepper to taste

1 crice, cooked
How to Make Shrimp Creole
- Heat the bacon grease and saute the trinity (celery, green pepper and onions) until tender. Add the flour, this will thicken the sauce. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 25 mins
- Add the shrimp and simmer for 10 more mins. Serve over cooked rice with crusty bread.
