Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 clove chopped garlic
- 32 ounces can stewed tomatoes
- 16 ounces can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons thyme, dried
- 1 teaspoon chili powder, hot
- a few - a few dashes of tabascosauce
- 3 pounds uncooked shrimp

Step 1Saute the onion, celery, green pepper and garlic in 1/4 cup oil until tender ( about 10 min)

Step 2Add the remaining ingredents Except for the shrimp. Simmer 30 minutes uncovered

Step 3Add 3 lbs of uncooked shrimps. Cover and simmer 5-10 minutes.

Step 4Serve over cooked rice
