Ingredients
- MARINADE
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoons cajun spice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- HOME MADE CAJUN SPICE
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon white pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon ground mustard
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoons celery seed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons thyme
How To Make shrimp...cajun style

Step 1In a large bowl, combine the ingredients for the marinade. Add shrimp and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for several hours.

Step 2Preheat grill or oven to 350 degrees. If griiling, place shrimp on skewers and grill for about ten minutes until shrimp are no longer transparent, turning once. If baking, place in a baking pan with some marinade and bake for fifteen minutes, turning once until shrimp is no longer transparent.

Step 3Can be served alone or over rice or hot buttered spaghetti. I have enclosed my homemade Cajun Spice recipe for thoses of you who like to make your own.
