shrimp and salmon with garlic rice

I combine the flavors of two seafood favorites into one dish. It's very good and super savory. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons butter, divided
- 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups colby cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon grund mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon dill
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 pounds salmon, skinless filet
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
How To Make shrimp and salmon with garlic rice

Step 1In large saucepan melt 2 tbsp butter. stir in flour until smooth, gradually add cream. bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

Step 2Add 1 cup cheese, salt, mustard, dill, sage and cayenne. Stir until cheese is melted. Remove from heat and stir in shrimp.

Step 3pat salmon dry with paper towels. place in a greased 13x9 baking dish. Pour shrimp mixture over salmon and top with remaining cheese.

Step 4bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until fish flakes easily and shrimp turns pink.

Step 5meanwhile, in a saucepan, saute garlic in remaining butter until tender. Add rice, cook and stir for 2 minutes. Stir in broth and bring to boil. Reduce heat and cook, covered, for 15 minutes or until rice is tender.

Step 6serve rice with salmon and shrimp mixture.
