Blue Ribbon Recipe
Super smooth and satisfying, this recipe could easily be doubled for a potluck or party. Next time I may add butter to the grits for an even creamier consistency. Yum!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cwater

1 cgrits quick cooking

1 cgrated sharp cheese

1/2 stickbutter

1/2 cchopped onion

1 lbcleaned cooked medium shrimp

2 Tbspchopped fresh parsley

2 clovecrushed garlic

2 Tbsplemon juice, fresh
How to Make Shrimp and Grits
- cook grits as per directions, add cheese. Reduce heat to warm while preparing shrimp.
Melt butter, saute' garlic & onions until softened. Add shrimp, toss in parsley and lemon juice.
Place grits on warmed plates, top with shrimp, enjoy
