SHRIMP AND GRITS

Ingredients

4 cwater

·salt and pepper

1 cstone ground grits

3 Tbspbutter, cold

2 csharp cheddar cheese

1 lbshrimp, peeled and deveined

6 slicebacon chopped
-
4 tsplemon juice
-
2 Tbspchopped parsley
-
1 cthin sliced scaillions
-
1 largeclove of garlic minced
How to Make SHRIMP AND GRITS
- Bring water to boil and cook grits until done add 3 tbls butter and 2 cups cheese stir until mixed
- In a large skillet fry the bacon remove from the pan to drain. Put the shrimp into the grease and fry until pink. Remove from skillet and add the scaillions, garlic, lemon juice and parsley to grease and cook til tender.
- Add all the ingredients to the grits stir in well and serve.
