Ingredients
- 4 - tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons grated ginger
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 pound shitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 - lime wedges, for serving
How To Make seared tuna with ginger shitake cream sauce

Step 1Add the oil to a skillet and sear the tuna on all sides, and cook to desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let rest.

Step 2Add the butter to the same skillet. Add the green onions, ginger, garlic, and mushrooms. Sauté for about 3 minutes.

Step 3Stir in the soy sauce and heavy cream. Cook 2 more minutes. Add the lime juice.

Step 4Serve the sauce with the tuna steaks and lime wedges.
