How To Make seared tuna steak in raspberry kiwi sauce
-
Step 1Reserve 4 slices of kiwi fruit. Place the raspberries, kiwi, rose wine, sugar, and raspberry vinegar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer and simmer for 15 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh strainer pushing to get the most liquid out of the fruit. Place the sauce back in the pan and bring to a boil. Mix the corn starch and water. Whisk into the sauce to thicken.
-
Step 2Dry the tuna and season with salt and pepper. Add the oil to a cast iron pan and sear the tuna on both sides for about 3 minutes per side. Sear on the edges to brown and remove to a carving board to rest.
-
Step 3Slice the tuna and serve with the sauce. Garnish with a couple of kiwi slices.
