Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon tamarind paste
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 4 sea bass filets skinless
  • dark green parts of scallions, sliced

How To Make sea bass with tamarind sauce

  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Step 2
    In a small bowl stir together the soy sauce, fish sauce, tamarind, brown sugar, chili garlic sauce, garlic, ginger, and 1/2 cup water. Set aside.
  • Step 3
    Place the fish in a baking dish and pour the tamarind mixture over the fish. Bake fish for about 6 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Remove the fish to a serving dish and stir the sauce. If the sauce is too thick add a little water. Serve over the fish and garnish with scallions.
