Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 5 - garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 pound bay or sea scallops
  • 3/4 cup slivered red peppers
  • 3/4 cup slivered green peppers
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce of your choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained

How To Make scallops in double pepper sauce

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet, heat the oil and add the garlic.
  • Step 2
    Cook until golden, about 1 minute.
  • Step 3
    Add the scallops, peppers, onion, hot sauce and salt.
  • Step 4
    Stirring constantly, cook for 5 minutes, or until the scallops turn white and the vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • Step 5
    Stir in the capers and serve immediately.
