Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound smoked sausage, polish sausage, or kielbasa
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 medium onion sliced into rings
- 1 pound yukon gold potatoes peeled and sliced in 1/2 inch slices
- 3/4 cup dry vermouth or white wine
- 4 haddock fillets
- salt and pepper
- handful of fresh parsley chopped
- juice of 1 lemon
How To Make sausage and fish stew

Step 1Add the oil to a large skillet. Once its hot add the potatoes, onions and garlic. Cook 5 minutes then add half the vermouth. Place a lid and 10 minutes. Add the sausage and cook 5 more minutes.

Step 2Season the fish with salt and pepper. Lay the fish on top of the potato/sausage mixture. Pour in the remaining vermouth. Place the lid back on pan and cook about 8 more minutes. Until fish is cooked.

Step 3Sprinkle the fish with parsley and drizzle the lemon juice over the dish. Serve with some crusty bread.
