Ingredients

1/4 c
red bell pepper
1/4 c
green onions
1/4 c
mayonnaise
1 Tbsp
lemon juice
1/4 tsp
seasoning salt
1 dash(es)
cayenne pepper (more or less for taste)

egg, beaten
1 pkg
salmon 6 oz
1 c
bread crumbs
3 Tbsp
butter

How to Make Salmon Patty Cakes

Step-by-Step

  • 1Finely chop red pepper and green onion. Put both in a mixing bowl and add mayonnaise, lemon juice, seasoned salt and cayenne pepper. Stir.
  • 2Stir in beaten egg, salmon and 4 tablespoons bread crumbs.
  • 3Form 6-8 balls, roll balls in remaining bread crumbs and flatten.
  • 4Heat butter in a frying pan and fry over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. About 5 minutes per side.
