These salmon patties are really great. My husband just loves them. I love them especially since they are baked and not fried.

Ingredients

  • 2 - eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cups crushed saltines (about 66 crackers)
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped onion
  • 2 - garlic cloves minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground coarse pepper (i use the gourmet type)
  • 2 - cans (14-3/4 ounces each) salmon, drained, bones and skin removed
  • MY HUSBAND'S HORSERADISH SAUCE - YUMMY
  • 1/4 cup horseradish (you can add more to suit your taste)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

How To Make salmon patties

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, beat the eggs, milk, lemon juice, saltines, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Stir in Salmon. Shape into 12 3 inch patties.
  • Step 2
    Place in a greased 15 inch x 10 inch x 1 inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until they are lightly brown. Serve with tarter sauce or cocktail sauce or your favorite sauce.
  • Step 3
    Tipp: I put my saltines in my blender and chop them up fine.
  • Step 4
    Sauce - mix all ingredients together and chill before serving.
