    pink or red salmon, drained, boned and flaked
  • 4
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c
    plain dry bread crumbs, divided
  • 1/2 c
    finely chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/8 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil

How to Make Salmon Patties


  1. In a large bowl, combine the salmon, eggs, 1 cup bread crumbs, onion, parsley, salt and pepper; mix well. Form into 6 patties about 1/2 inch thick. Place the remaining 1/2 cup bread crumbs in a shallow dish and coat the patties on both sides in a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat saute the patties for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel-lined platter and serve immediately.
