Ingredients
- 1 can pink or red salmon, drained, boned and flaked
- 4 - eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups plain dry bread crumbs, divided
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
How To Make salmon patties

Step 1In a large bowl, combine the salmon, eggs, 1 cup bread crumbs, onion, parsley, salt and pepper; mix well. Form into 6 patties about 1/2 inch thick. Place the remaining 1/2 cup bread crumbs in a shallow dish and coat the patties on both sides in a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat saute the patties for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel-lined platter and serve immediately.
