This salmon patty recipe is delicious. Make your sauce tarter sauce or honey mustard sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 - large egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 tablespoon dill, optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 - 14 3/4 ounce canned salmon, drained and flaked, and skin and bones removed
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

How To Make salmon patties

  • Step 1
    In a medium bowl, combine the egg, milk, onion, dill (optional) and pepper. Form mixture into patties 1/2 inch thick.
  • Step 2
    In a large skillet, cook patties in hot oil over medium-low heat for about 6 minutes or until golden brown, turning once.
  • Step 3
    Serve with Honey Mustard sauce or Tarter sauce. For Honey Mustard sauce, in a small bowl, stir together 1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing and 1 tablespoon of honey mustard. Cover and chill until serving time.
