My daughters Arika Sanderson and Kaila Herin love salmon patties so for them I give them Grandma's (Betty Lillie) infamous salmon patty recipe. So enjoy. Bon Apetite

Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon, flaked (you can use canned salmon but drain it and make sure you have the skin and bones out)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon wochestershire sauce ( i have no idea if i spelled that right but since no one can say it right either i am not worried about it)
  • 1/4 cup fine bread crumbs or 1/4 cup mashed potato
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

How To Make salmon patties

  • Step 1
    1. Combine all ingredients together in a large bowl. (if it's too dry to form a patty add a touch of milk).
  • Step 2
    Form patties and dip into additional bread crumbs. Preheat frying pan. Oil pan well and fry them up!
