Quick easy delicious. I also make this with caned Mackerel. We just love it with a little tarter sauce on the side.

  • 1 can(s)
    salmond or mackrel with broth
  • 1 pkg
    saltine crackers crumbled
  • 1 small
    onion diced fine if desired
  • 2 large
  • 1 c
    or less for frying

How to Make Salmon Patties


  1. Open fish and pour into bowel with broth. Take center bones out and break up meat slightly.
  2. Add diced onion if desired, cracker crumbs and eggs. Mix well with hands. Set aside for 5-10 minuted to allow time for crackers to absorb broth.
  3. Place oil in fry pan and heat while forming fish into patties. Brown patties on one side then turn and brown on other side. Remove to serving platter.
