This is another recipe that I got from my mother and I love it as does everyone else I have made it for.

Ingredients

  • 1 can 15 oz. canned salmon
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped fine
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
  • 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped fine
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika, sweet mild
  • 1 tablespoon parsely flakes
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

How To Make salmon patties

  • Step 1
    Drain and clean any bones out of the canned salmon. Add fish to bowl with other ingredients and mix well. Heat skillet/frying pan with 2 Tbs. oil.
  • Step 2
    Take an ice cream scoop full of batter and either form into a patty on wax paper or put right into the skillet and press down with a spatula to form a patty.
  • Step 3
    Fry until lightly browned on each side about 1-2 minutes depending on your stove.
