Back in the 70's Brenda's Mom would invite me to lunch when she fixed this. so I got her recipe.

  • 1 can(s)
    salmon, canned
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    paprika or 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/4 c
    cracker crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 3
    egg yolks, well beaten
  • 3
    egg whites, stiffly beaten

How to Make Salmon Loaf


  1. Remove dark sking and bones from salmon. Separate into flakes with fork
  2. Combine all ingredients, except egg whites. Mix well. Then fold in egg whites
  3. Pour into well greased loaf pan. Bake until lightly brown on top. at 325 oven
