Great way to get your calcium and so much tastier than Tums! :) I love this with mashed potatoes and greens but look out! my southern is showing :)

Ingredients
- 1 can red salmon, canned
- 1 - yellow onion, chopped
- 3-4 - pieces bread, crumbled
- 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
How To Make salmon croquettes

Step 1Drain the salmon, place in bowl and crumble the bones into the salmon. Leaving the bones in adds flavor! Leaving the bones in gives you calcium and treats osteoporosis!

Step 2Add all the other ingredients except flour and cornmeal In a separate bowl mix the flour and cornmeal together

Step 3Form patties or balls and roll them in the cornmeal mixture.

Step 4heat oil in cast iron skillet until smoke just starts to show. Note: Do not start frying until oil is hot or the patties will soak up the oil. Shallow fry the patties in hot oil until thoroughly browned.
