Rich & Creamy Tuna Casserole

This is one of our favorite casseroles! It’s creamy and so easy to make, and it tastes so rich.
For the picture, I used small bow tie pasta, and Ritz crackers to top the casserole.

  • 1 lb
    penne pasta, or pasta of choice
  • 1 can(s)
    solid white tuna in water, including liquid
  • 1 can(s)
    light tuna in oil, drained
  • 2 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 can(s)
    evaporated milk, (use soup can)
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    sour cream
  • 1 can(s)
    mushroom slices, partially drained
  • 2 stalk(s)
    celery, chopped
  • 1/2 small
    onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ·
    italian seasoned bread crumbs, or 1 sleeve of ritz crackers, crumbled

How to Make Rich & Creamy Tuna Casserole


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain. Preheat oven to 350. Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray.
  2. Saute onions & celery in a little butter until softened.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the tuna, and the remainder of ingredients, except bread crumbs/crackers.
  4. Combine pasta with tuna/soup mixture. Spoon into 9x13 pan and top with bread crumbs or Ritz crackers.
  5. Bake for about 30 mins, or until casserole is bubbly and golden browned. Enjoy.
  6. ** If Freezing: Leave off the bread crumbs until ready to bake.
