rich & creamy tuna casserole
This is one of our favorite casseroles! It’s creamy and so easy to make, and it tastes so rich. For the picture, I used small bow tie pasta, and Ritz crackers to top the casserole.

Ingredients
- 1 pound penne pasta, or pasta of choice
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 can solid white tuna in water, including liquid
- 1 can light tuna in oil, drained
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 2-3 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 can mushroom slices, partially drained
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup italian seasoned bread crumbs, or 1 sleeve of ritz crackers, buttered & crushed
How To Make rich & creamy tuna casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 325. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain.

Step 2Spray 9x13 dish, or large casserole, with cooking spray.

Step 3Saute onions & celery in the butter until softened.

Step 4In a large bowl, combine the tuna, and the remainder of ingredients, except bread crumbs/crackers.

Step 5Combine pasta with tuna/soup mixture. Spoon into 9x13 dish, or large casserole, and top with bread crumbs or crushed Ritz crackers.

Step 6Bake for about 30 mins, or until casserole is bubbly and golden browned. Enjoy.

Step 7** If Freezing: Leave off the bread crumbs until ready to bake.
