Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 1 - celery stalk, chopped
- 2 - 6-1/2 cans chopped clams, undrained
- 1 - 8 oz bottle clam juice
- 1-3/4 cup chicken brotth
- 1 large potato, diced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon each salt and white pepper
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 cups light cream
How To Make quick fishermans clam chowder

Step 1In lg pot over medium heat, saute onion and celery in oil for 5 mins. Add clams w/ their juices, broth, thyme, salt and pepper.

Step 2Cover, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, cook until potatoes are tender, about 15 mins.

Step 3In bowl whisk together cornstarch and cream. Add mix to chowder, cook until thickened, stirring often.
