Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3 tablespoons bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup green onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 pound crawfish tails or cooked shrimp
  • dash paprika
  • pinch of red pepper flakes to taste

How To Make quick & easy crawfish/shrimp etoufee

  • Step 1
    Melt butter; Add flour. Stir in onions, bell pepper and garlic. Cook until tender
  • Step 2
    Add soup. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Add salt , pepper, green onion and parsley. Add crawfish tails or cooked shrimp. Cook over low heat till seafood is heated through.
  • Step 4
    Add paprika for some pink color to the dish and red pepper flakes to taste.
  • Step 5
    Serve over cooked rice.
