Ingredients
- 1/4 cup diced, salt pork
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup clam liquor and water
- 1 cup potatoes, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- - dash of pepper
- 3 quarts quahogs (hard-shell clams) shucked and chopped with liquid reserved
- 2 cups milk
How To Make quahog chowder

Step 1Fry Salt pork until golden. Add onion and cook until tender and transparent.

Step 2Add liquor, potatoes, salt, pepper and clams. Cook about 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Add milk. Heat. Serve with crackers.
