  • 1 1/2 cups Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 4 walleye fillets, skinned
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

How To Make pistachio crusted walleye

  • Step 1
    Place the flour in one shallow dish. Mix the eggs and milk together in another dish. Finally, the Panko and pistachio in a third dish and season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Add the butter and olive oil to a skillet.
  • Step 3
    Season the fish with salt, then dredge in the flour, then the egg mixture, then the Panko pistachios.
  • Step 4
    Cook in batches if needed, about 3 minutes per side, depending on how thick the fish is.
