- 1 1/2 cups pistachio nuts, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups Panko bread crumbs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 4 walleye fillets, skinned
- salt and pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
How To Make pistachio crusted walleye

Step 1Place the flour in one shallow dish. Mix the eggs and milk together in another dish. Finally, the Panko and pistachio in a third dish and season with salt and pepper.

Step 2Add the butter and olive oil to a skillet.

Step 3Season the fish with salt, then dredge in the flour, then the egg mixture, then the Panko pistachios.

Step 4Cook in batches if needed, about 3 minutes per side, depending on how thick the fish is.
