Ingredients

6
mountain trout
1/2 c
all purpose flour
salt and pepper
vegetable oil
3 Tbsp
butter
lemon wedges
1 Tbsp
parsley, chopped

How to Make PERFECT FRIED TROUT

Step-by-Step

  • 1Clean trout.
  • 2Pat the dry.
  • 3Mix the flour with salt and pepper.
  • 4Dip the trout inside and out with the seasoned flour mixture.
  • 5Fry the trout in about 1/4-inch deep of vegetable oil.
  • 6Fry for about 5 minutes, flipping halfway until golden brown and tender.
  • 7Place trout on a serving platter.
  • 8Melt butter and pour it over trout.
  • 9Serve with lemon wedges and sprinkle with parsley.
