I am adopting this recipe, and tweaking it a little bit.

Ingredients

  • 31 ounces salmon, skinned, de-boned, and drained
  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon onion, chopped
  • 2 - 4 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 - 1 cups cracker crumbs
  • 8 1/2 ounces peas, drained
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (optional)
  • 1 - 2 cups tartar sauce

How To Make peas and salmon loaf

  • Step 1
    Combine in a mixing bowl salmon, eggs, onion, lemon juice, salt and cracker crumbs; carefully fold in peas
  • Step 2
    Pack into a greased 1 1/2-quart loaf pan; bake in a preheated 350 oven 30 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Spread loaf with ketchup; bake 5 minutes longer.
  • Step 4
    Serve with tartar sauce on the side.
