pan fried fish and oven baked + tarter sauce

I love a good fried fish with both lemon and tarter sauce on it! Actually, its the only way I eat fish. This is really easy and Oh SO Good! ***** I haven't used ritz crackers in mine, just bread crumbs and I normally use filet of sole for the fish. Either way its good!!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound orange roughy filets
  • 1 cup unseasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 cup crushed ritz crackers
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • - oil for frying
  • - fresh lemons
  • - ***************************************************
  • - easy tarter sauce recipe
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped onion

How To Make pan fried fish and oven baked + tarter sauce

  • Step 1
    Mix egg and milk in a shallow bowl. Mix crumbs and cracker crumbs together. Dip fish into milk mix then into crumbs. Fry in oil until medium brown. Place on a cookie sheet in the oven at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Serve with fresh lemon and tarter sauce.

    Blend mayo, sweet pickle and onion together and chill. Simple but really good!

    I serve the fish with boiled potatoes with melted butter and parsley flakes on top, fresh green beans and apple sauce... yum!
