Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sake
- 1/4 cup Mirin
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup white miso paste
- 4 black cod fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
How To Make miso marinated black cod

Step 1Add the Sake, Mirin, and Miso to a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook until miso is dissolved. Add in the sugar and cook until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool completely. Add the cod to the marinade and marinate overnight.

Step 2Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place in an oven-safe pan on the stove and add the oil. When the oil is smoking add the fish skin side down.

Step 3Cook for about 3 minutes until the skin is crisp. Turn the fish over. Brush with the marinade and place in the oven for about 10 minutes.

Step 4Brush with the marinade once or twice. Serve.
