My Mom's mothers recipe ... always great!!

yield 4 servings = 8 crabcakes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound crabmeat
  • 3/4 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • - 1 large or 2 small eggs
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

How To Make maryland crab cakes

  • Step 1
    In a bowl, Mix all ingredients together,EXCEPT for crabmeat.
  • Step 2
    Gently add crabmeat. If mixture is to dry add a little more mayonnaise.
  • Step 3
    Shape into cakes and fry in just enough margarine (or butter) until browned on both sides.
