Mark said that this will give him 3 servings plus enough left over for Kona (his Tamaskan dog) from the one pound of fish. I laughed, because that won't be enough for 1 serving for my hubby. So this is easy to adjust to larger quantities of fish, and any type of fish desired.

  • 1/2 c
    maple syrup
  • ·
    garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb
fish filets, your choice, see notes

How to Make Mark's Marinated Fish Steaks

  1. Mix the syrup, garlic, soy and salt and pepper. Marinate the fish for 30 minutes. Then cook 20 min in a 350 degree oven.
  2. Mark has used salmon, and tilapia so far. Since I can't eat salmon, I asked about using tuna steaks. He thinks they would turn out fine, and reminded me the marinade is for 1 lb of fish of whatever I choose to use.
