I found this in a very old pie iron cook book and changed things around a bit.You will need at least 2 pie irons for this.

  • 1 lb
  • 1 lb
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1/4 c
    finely diced sweet oinon
  • 1/8 c
    lemon juice
  • 3 tsp
    hot sauce
  • 1/2 c
    white wine
  • 1/4 c
    thyme, leaves chopped fine
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • ·
    a pinch of salt and pepper

How to Make Marinated Shrimp & Scollops.


  1. Combine all ingredients in a plastic bag,along with shrimp and scollops. Marinatee inthe ice chest for al least 3 hours. Up to 5 hours.

    In one pie iron put 3 or 4 shrimp. In the other pie iron put 2 schollops. Close pie irons and cook over med heat. Turning often till shrimp and scollops are cook.Usaly 4-5 min...It is a very tasty treat
