lime and mustard fish fillets

This recipe is best with a nice firm whitefish. I suggest red snapper, grouper, or amberjack. A less expensive alternative is tilapia, but try to find it fresh....it just tastes better! If you have to use frozen, soak the fish in milk for an hour or so to get rid of that "fishy" taste.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fish fillets (flounder, tilapia, red snapper, amberjack)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

How To Make lime and mustard fish fillets

  • Step 1
    Place the fillets on a rack in a broiler pan.
  • Step 2
    Combine the mayonnaise,, mustard, and lime juice; spread mixture over fillets.
  • Step 3
    Broil 6 inches from the heat 8 to 10 minutes or until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
